Information for Participants

  1. On-site Registration
    Place: 5th floor, Main Foyer of Osaka International Convention Center (OICC)
    Opening Hours: July 21 (Thur.) 7:00-18:00
    July 22 (Fri.) 7:00-18:00
    July 23 (Sat.) 7:00-17:00
    Registration Fees: Members 23,000 JPY
    Non-Members, Corporate Employees and others 28,000 JPY
    Co-Medical/ Healthcare Professionals 5,000 JPY
    Trainees (within 2 years after the graduation) / Students: Free*
    * Trainees and Students must provide a photocopy of a valid and current ID as proof of status.
  2. Name Cards
    • For on-site registration
      Please come to the General Information Desk located on the 5th floor, Main Foyer of OICC to receive your name card.
      Upon payment of the registration fee at the desk, you will receive a name card with an official stamp, which will officially certify your participation of the Meeting.
    • For in-advance registration
      A name card (without an official stamp) will be sent to you more than 7 days prior to the Meeting. At the venue, please visit the Registration Desk (located on the 5th floor, Main Foyer of OICC) during the opening hours (see above) to receive a stamp on your name card.
      When you receive the name card, please write your name and affiliation on it. Please keep the card, which is required for entry, on you at all times during the meeting. (Please note that regardless of the circumstances, entry will not be possible without the card.)
      In addition, the name card will serve as a certificate of attendance, which proves your participation in the meeting.
      Furthermore, since the certificate cannot be re-issued, be careful not to lose it and hold onto it after the conclusion of the meeting.
    • Congress Bag
      Congress bags will be given to all participants of the Meeting (including Trainees and Students). Please find and detach the "Congress Bag Voucher" from the name card and present it at the Congress Bag Desk to receive your bag. The Congress Bag Desk is located on the 5th floor, Main Foyer of OICC during the following hours.

    • "PCI Glossary" Book
      Due to the limited number of Books, only the first 1,000 Co-Medical/Healthcare Professionals who register for the Meeting either on-line prior to the Meeting or on-site will receive a "PCI Glossary" Book. Please present a name card at the "PCI Glossary" Book Desk, which is located on the 5th floor, Main Foyer of OICC, in order to receive the Book.
  3. Official languages

    English and Japanese

    The sessions marked "Japanese" will be conducted in Japanese, and the ones marked "English" will be conducted in English.

    Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in the sessions marked mark listed in the Program at a Glance.

  4. Book of Abstracts

    Please make sure to bring this Book of Abstracts to the venue.
    Additional copies of the Book of Abstracts (¥3,000 per copy) will be sold at the General Information Desk (located on the 5th floor, Main Foyer of OICC).
    Please note that the available copies of Book of Abstracts on site are limited.

  5. Paging Service

    Message board will be available at the General Information Desk (5th floor, Main Foyer of OICC). In case of emergency, please contact the General Information Desk as well.

  6. Cloak
    Place: 5th floor, Main Foyer of OICC
    Opening Hours: July 21 (Thur.) 7:00-30 minutes after the conclusion of the program
    July 22 (Fri.) 7:00-30 minutes after the conclusion of the program
    July 23 (Sat.) 7:00-30 minutes after the conclusion of the program
  7. Restaurants and Cafeteria

    There are several restaurants and cafeterias in the OICC and the adjacent RIHGA Royal Hotel, Osaka.
    Light meals will be served at the following Seminar sites: Morning Seminar, Luncheon Seminar, Coffee-Break Seminar, and Fire-Side Seminar.
    Please note that amount of food and beverages are limited.

  8. Parking

    The OICC has a public parking lot (500 JPY per hour) for the facility users who come by car. Please note that these spaces are limited and not solely reserved for the participants of the meeting. Hence, if possible, as well as from the eco-friendly reason, it is recommended to come to the Meeting using public transportation.

  9. Exhibition, Bookshop, Refreshments, Internet Corner
    Place: 3rd, 10th and 12th floors of OICC

  10. Luncheon Seminars

    Vouchers can be obtained at the following locations during the following hours. Please note the vouchers are valid for only the Luncheon Seminars held on the same day as issued.

    Since the number of the vouchers is limited, it will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.

    Please note vouchers will only be distributed for the Luncheon Seminars, and will not be distributed for any other seminar (Morning, Coffee-Break, and Fire-Side Seminar*).
    * Please go to the site directly in time for each seminar. Please also note that amount of food and beverages for the seminars are limited.

  12. Others
    • Except for the designated smoking areas, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the venue.
    • Please turn all cellular phones and beepers off or on silent-mode during the sessions.
    • Taking pictures, recording videos, and using voice recorders are not allowed during any part of the sessions.
    • Except for the designated eating areas (Morning, Luncheon, Coffee-Break and Fire-Side Seminars), eating is prohibited in all meeting rooms
    • Please note that, due to the expected warm and humid weather during the meeting, suits and ties are not strictly required. Dress appropriately according to the weather.
