  1. Author and Co-authors

    If author and co-authors for this registration belong to overseas affiliations, they are not required to be a member of CVIT. However, at the registration, the author needs to e-mail a certificate of employment or a certificate of student status (sealed by his/her affiliation) to the CVIT2011 Administration Office (cvit2011-endai@heartorg.gr.jp).

  2. How to Register
    • Please access the CVIT2011 website and register your abstract on the page for the abstract submission.
    • An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you after registration, together with your abstract Registration Number. This number and the Password (which was created when you registered your abstract) are required for the abstract modification and to confirm Acceptance/Rejection. Since any inquiries regarding your Registration Number and Password are not accepted, please do not loose your Registration Number and Password. In that case, you will be required to register your abstract again.
    • If you have any inquiries about your abstract submission, please contact Heart Organization, Ltd., the CVIT2011 Administration Office, by e-mail (cvit2011-endai@heartorg.gr.jp) or fax (+81-532-52-2883).
  3. Modification of Submitted Abstracts

    Submitted abstracts will be modified only during the abstract acceptance period and your abstract Registration Number and Password are required to modify submitted abstract.

  4. Acceptance/Rejection Announcement

    CVIT2011 president reserves the right to make final decision on Acceptance/Rejection of Abstract and presentation schedule. Result will be posted on the CVIT2011 website and notified by e-mail in early April.

  5. Abstract Format
    • Abstracts should be registered online only. Other methods such as floppy disk, MO, CD-R are not acceptable.
    • The number of co-authors should be at maximum 20 persons. In the case that the co-authors' institution is different from the presenting authors, at maximum 20 institutions are able to be entered.
    • The number of restriction word for the title of Abstract becomes 20 words.
    • Be concise (less than 220 words)
    • Be arranged in the following order: purpose, methods, results and conclusion.
    • May include one illustration, table or chart (JPEG or GIF format).
    • Abstract with an illustration, table or chart should be up to 130 words.
    • Regarding the presentation category, please refer to the Category Table for Medical.
  6. Nota Bene
    • The page of submission of Abstract is performing the check of operation by "Internet Explorer", "Netscape", "Safari" and "Firefox". Safari can be used by the version since ver.2.0.3 (417.9.2).
    • Please create your View/Update Password when you register your abstract. Password is case sensitive and must be between 6 and 8 character long. This Password is necessary for you to view or modify your abstract. You can view, modify and delete your abstract any number of times during the abstract acceptance period. For the purpose of security, any inquiries regarding your Registration Number and Password are not acceptable.
    • In the case that the co-authors' institutions and departments are different from the presenting author's institution and department, please enter the names of those departments in addition to institutions in the cells of 2. institution - 5. Institution.
    • Since we are not obliged to any mistake in Abstracts, please be sure to confirm the content of your Abstract.
    • The page of Abstract submission is managed under the comprehensive support of UMIN (University Hospital Medical Information Network) Secretariat. Please refer to the FAQ pages before submitting an inquiry.
